Manual iPhone software downloads

I plan IT for a aggregation that has a dozen iPhones. When an amend comes out, downloading a 250Mb amend for anniversary buzz is annoying at best. When the 2.1 amend came out, I bethink anyone announcement a hotlink to do a chiral download of the software that I could again point anniversary buzz to, for one download and assorted patches. (Very time saving.) I cannot acquisition a chiral download hotlink for the 2.2 software. How does one locate these download files every time a new application comes out?

Also, aggravating to columnist on missing this information, I absorbed an iPhone up to my PC with iTunes and did a ‘down amount only’ of the 2.2 software. I cannot locate area iTunes downloaded it to though.
